Approximate timeline for the Painted Lady Metamorphosis Kit is as follows: 8-12 days in larva stage, 6-8 days in chrysalis form, 2-3 weeks as an adult butterfly. Temperature and environment will cause variations in timeline.

Watch the butterfly larva eat, form a chrysalis, and emerge as an adult butterfly! After emerging as an adult, you may keep your butterfly in the habitat or release your butterfly outside. Replant the potted host plant in your garden to attract wild butterflies.
